Hello all! My name is Laura and I am a Mass Communications major at Texas State University and I am currently a sophomore! I enjoy being active and I love doing yoga, hiking, and adventuring. I also love music festivals and I’m constantly searching for the next show. I have a great desire to travel as well, which brings us to this page!

I have always expressed a desire to travel and explore new places and people. With every new place comes a new perspective or state of mind. My goal is to soak in all these new locations and feel for the vibe each place expresses. Though currently, due to limited resources, I am not able to travel to far off places like I would like to, exploring places around my current area will still reach this goal of mine. Whether trekking to the top of a hiking trail or finding a local swimming spot, I will get the feel for a new adventure!

My directed audience is anyone who wishes to explore new places around the San Marcos/Austin area. This is not limited to age but mostly focused on college-aged students that are able to get from place to place. My goal is to show everyone interested in exploring this area that there are many places to observe! Secluded and open places will be included. Each post will be given a link through social media, specifically Twitter, so that I can reach an audience focused on others my age.
